Pain patterns are rarely identical. Don considers movement, sleep, stress, medical history, daily demands, and what has changed since the last visit.
Every visit is guided by your current presentation. Don may change points, techniques, or movement based on what has improved, what remains limited, and how your body responds that day.
Who Often Comes to See Don — People with neck, shoulder, shoulder-blade, back, knee, or joint pain; headaches or migraine; TMJ and jaw tension; stress-related muscle tightness; post-surgical discomfort; or symptoms after a work or auto injury.
Your Visit — Care may include acupuncture, motion acupuncture, electroacupuncture, acupressure or Tui Na, gua sha, movement checks, and practical home guidance. Only the techniques appropriate for you that day are used.
Injury-Focused Experience — Don has treated authorized workers’ compensation cases and personal-injury or auto-accident cases, with attention to function, objective changes, treatment response, and careful documentation.
Please arrive with a current medication list and wear clothing that allows access to the area being treated. Eat a light meal beforehand unless your clinician has told you otherwise.
Progress That Can Be Measured — Don pays attention to pain level, movement, daily function, sleep, and how long relief lasts. These details guide the next visit.
Honest Limits — Progressive weakness or numbness, spreading redness or swelling, fever, a new severe injury, bowel or bladder changes, and emergencies need medical evaluation. Don refers when another type of care should come first.
Treatment can be provided in English or Mandarin. Appointment calls are handled in English by the Beyond Chiropractic front desk.
Acupuncture may support pain management and recovery, but individual response varies. No specific result is guaranteed.
Evidence is strongest for some pain conditions, and results vary. Don combines published evidence with clinical assessment, patient preferences, and ongoing response to care.
When appropriate, Don can coordinate with medical, chiropractic, physical therapy, and other care. Acupuncture does not replace urgent evaluation, diagnostic workup, medication management, or surgery when those are needed.

A thoughtful plan. A human pace. Care that changes with you.
Acupuncture uses thin, sterile, single-use needles. The plan is individualized, and response varies from person to person.
